It has been brought to my attention that this Wednesday, August 12th, as part of the Department of Health’s efforts to help students go back to school with the necessary vaccinations, two vaccine clinics will be held at the York County State Health Center located at 1750 North George Street in York.
There will be a morning clinic from 8:30-11:00am and an afternoon clinic from 1:00-3:30pm. Parents must pre-register by calling 1-877-PA-HEALTH (1-877-724-3258). And please understand, this initiative is for children that are Medicaid eligible, uninsured, underinsured, or Native American or Native Alaskan.
More information can be found on the Department of Health’s “Don’t Wait, Vaccinate” website. And please help spread the word to those you think would benefit.
